Enemies of Reality Films are award winning storytellers, established in Canberra (Ngunnawal/Nambri Country) in 2003. We have a body of work encompassing corporates, television commercials, animations, short films and music videos.
We are boutique, which means we can focus fully on your project. We are not traditional corporate producers, we work with our clients to give them something unique, engaging and on schedule. |

Marisa Martin she/her

Marisa has over twenty years filmmaking experience is highly skilled in various types of production including animation, production design and illustration. Marisa splits her production time between animation and live action projects and has directed leading Australian actors including Noni Hazlehurst, Xavier Samuel & Paul McDermott and her films have screened at FlickerFest, St Kilda Film Festival and the New York International Short Film Festival.
She was the recipient of the Yoram Gross Award for Best Australian Animation at Flickerfest in 2019 for Della Mortika: Carousel of Shame. The film was also shortlisted for an AACTA award. In recent years, Marisa has focussed on animation, screen graphics and graphic design for film and television, working on projects such as The Invisible Man, Children of the Corn, Pacific Rim 2 andTop of the Lake (s2). Marisa has run the Lights! Canberra! Action! Filmmaking festival since 2004 and has also been a member of the ScreenACT Industry Taskforce Panel, artsACT Peer Review Committee for Film & Digital Media Funding. Marisa has also been a film reviewer for the Movie Club on ArtSound FM Radio since 2011. She published the free monthly newsletter, The Canberra Film Files, for eleven years. |

Geraldine Martin she/her
Screenwriter, Animator Geraldine Martin has moved later in life to writing and animation. She has a lifetime of experience in family life, public service and working in the private sector. She is a qualified librarian and milliner and was a partner in a millinery business during the 1990s. She spent twenty years as Practice Manager and Director of an Architectural practice in Canberra. She has a Masters degree in Creative Writing. Her aim in life is to write and animate her own stories. Her writing so far has concentrated on scripts and stories for young people. |
Janine Jeffreys she/her
Paper Engineer, Screenwriter Janine has had an interest in theatre and film for as long as she can remember. She studied acting at Sydney’s Ensemble Theatre in the ‘70’s. In 2005 Janine studied Media Production in Film and Television at CIT in Canberra. Towards the end of her studies she did work experience for EoR Media where she met Marisa Martin. Janine is now one of the team and is heavily involved with the making of the Della Morte Sisters stop motion animation as well as regularly working with Marisa on production design projects as Set Dresser, Props Buyer and Costume Designer. |
David Tynan he/him
Producer, Locations, Builder David works with EoR Media in several capacities. He is developing projects as a producer, he sources and manages locations for productions and he is highly skilled in building props and sets as part of our production design services. David has a degree in archaeology and many years experience in management. He is very handy in construction and runs a side business with Marisa Martin where they make dollhouses out of vintage suitcases: Suitcase Dollhouse, as well as Burley & Brave, a business specialising in miniatures, accessories and toys inspired by the icons of Canberra and region. |
